This historic home in the “Bottle Hill” section of Madison NJ was constructed in the “East Jersey Cottage” vernacular. The home was constructed in the early 18th century with it’s is in “English Style “ post and beam. The original home is being restored maintaining the original architectural details. The rubble stone foundation has been excavated to allow for 8’ headroom in the “walk out” basement level. The remainder of the project is to add a 12’x 22’, 2 story addition. DCC designed the project and has passed the approval of the Madison Historic Commission.
